Jingle Jacks John is moving too!
We caught him moving right before we opened the doors for the weekend.
Move Morevember Host, Dr. Scott Jablonka with Carolina Movement Doc. shares, “When your work requires you to be on your feet all day and also bending and picking things up, it’s nice to warm up those muscles to start your shift.”
Move Morevember is presented by Saucony and is designed to motivate you to move more during the colder holiday season and move to help more neighbors in need. [Pledge and get a badge]
Dr. Jablonka dropped a $50 Omega Sports Gift Card Squat Challenge on Instagram. [Take the challenge]
He shares, “Squats are great because they can be performed practically anywhere. The movement helps to strengthen the tendons, bones, and ligaments around the leg muscles. Squats also benefit other muscles like hip muscles, calves, hamstrings, and obliques.”
When your Host is also a Performance Physical Therapist and CrossFit Coach like Dr. Jablonka, we knew we’d see entries with weighted movement for strengthening and conditioning.
Dr. Jablonka is also the Host of our popular Omega Sports Move More Podcast. If you haven’t checked it out or you’d like a great episode to really encourage you to move more, we couldn’t think of a better one than this one on the Sickness, Wellness, Fitness Continuum.
You will really start to think about how your current activity level can help or hurt your future self. [Listen now]
Dr. Jablonka has several podcasts and interviews he’s dropped for Omega Sports focusing on movement. With more than 100,000 listens and views, he’s quickly becoming a popular expert to listen to and follow. Available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Podcasts, and more.

Longtime Omega Sports Ambassador, Alicia is certainly no stranger to Omega Sports customers and North Carolina runners. She’s been inspiring locals for years and proving you can’t let obstacles slow you down.
Alicia put on her Shred415 hat and led a free workout at Omega Sports’ Greensboro store. [See the action]
Afterward, she put Shred415 Greensboro’s local owner, Steve Long to a Move Morevember TikTok Challenge. [Watch video]
And we could not let any more time go by without mentioning 3 wonderful Ambassadors that made their way up to New York City.
Lauren and King (pictured center to right) landed in the Big Apple to take on the New York City Marathon.
Kenn (on the left) was there to cheer them on after being a great support system for Lauren as she trained for 16 grueling weeks.
Both Lauren and King have inspiring stories that make this accomplishment even greater. We are proud to share more about their journeys later this month.
And expect to see more of Kenn as this Super Saucony Fan takes on Move Morevember in Wilmington.
He’s already made a huge difference in this year’s initiative.
After sharing a recent story about gifting a neighbor in need with his older pair of Sauconys when he got his newest pair, we decided to create a Winter Sneaker Trade-In.
Kenn’s been trading in his older shoes for years every summer with Omega Sports and suggested we do one this time of year as well.
Join our inaugural Winter Sneaker Trade-In.
Now through Nov. 21st, you can bring in an old pair of sneakers and trade them in for a $10 gift credit towards a new pair of running shoes.
Omega Sports CEO, Craig Carlock shares, “This is an excellent way to help a neighbor in need of useful footwear by donating your unwanted older shoes and save a little for yourself on a new pair of running shoes. It’s a WIN-WIN for everyone.”
*Available for in-store purchases only. Applied at checkout on new running shoes. One credit per customer/household per day. Credits can’t be combined. See stores for details.
