Our mission is to share our ACTIVE-PLAY expertise in SPORTS READINESS and HEALTHY BETTERNESS with our customers and communities. Originally planned as in-store FREE workshops based on our our 5 Pillars of MEGA Wellness, these informative sessions offered customers a chance to learn more about our services, products, brands, partners and more.

At Omega Sports, we always make wellness and safety a priority.
Our trained ACTIVE-PLAY Experts are focused on ensuring you reach the highest potential to be your most competitive and most comfortable. We believe that no matter what the activity or sport is you’re focused on, it all begins with your foundation- your feet.
That’s why we have invested in state-of-the-art shoe fitting technology.
All 5 neighborhood sports stores offer FREE fitting evaluations called a Proper Fit Session. We combine our foot scanning technology and gait analysis expertise to help make the right individualized recommendations. Along with listening to your goals on performance and comfort, these Proper Fit Sessions will help you maximize your desired results.
You will walk away with extra confidence in knowing that you are helping yourself to a better fit, with more comfort and improved performance. We will even provide a copy of your foot scan to your email.
We make Proper Fit Sessions the main focus at our MEGA WELLNESS Saturdays.
During the Saturday morning workshops, you expect us to highlight select footwear, insoles and socks.

When choosing the right running shoe, it is important to consider support, gait, type of running, materials and fit of the shoe.
Support considerations include a flat or low arch (flexible), a medium arch (neutral) or a high arch (rigid). Gaits can be supination/underpronation, neutral or pronation/over pronation.

Sports Fitting
The right sports gear can improve your game, comfort and safety. Because of this, it is imperative that you select the gear that best suits you and your needs.
Our ACTIVE-PLAY Experts have been supporting local athletes get gear-ready for more than 40 years. From the right size baseball bat, tennis racquet, soccer ball, protective wear… to smart ways to stay safe in water, sun and heat. Run Bras
Sports bras (or we like to call them Run Bras like our friends at Brooks Running ) are considered the first line of protection for women and the proper fit is incredibly important. Once the ligaments in a woman’s breast tissue is stretched, it can’t be repaired. So, it’s very important to support all of the different types of breast tissue in order to preserve those ligaments and elasticity. Many women are actually wearing an improperly fitted bra or don’t even know their bra size.

- We learn from you! Ask us questions and tell is what you think about a product. We learn more when we get direct insights from our customers. Having 7 neighborhood sports stores (opened 7 days a week) and a thriving 24 hour online presence helps us stay in sync with trends, topics and testimonials. We always share great insights and access.
- Interview top brand leaders. With our access to top brands, we have recorded podcasts filled with tremendous product knowledge made available for our customers every month.
During our MEGA Wellness Saturday Workshops, our neighborhood stores will highlight products and share information about their features and benefits.
